About Dr. Sonia Deveshvar

Senior dentist Dr Sonia Deveshvar has had extensive experience in dentistry as she graduated in 1998. Wife of Dr Amit Deveshvar, she has also travelled extensively and has practiced dentistry in India, New Zealand and Australia.

Dr Deveshvar has furthered her interest and knowledge in Endodontics (Root Canal Treatment) by completing a diploma in Endodontics. She enjoys doing RCTs and it shows in her quality of the treatment. Having immense experience in treating difficult root canal cases, she is our “go-to dentist” whenever the clinic get a difficult RCT case.

Dr Sonia is also immensely experienced in treating children as she has worked as a School dentist with Qld Health in the past. Her previous role was of a Senior dentist in a child-friendly surgery in Toowoomba where she managed children of all age groups with aplomb as she is experienced in child behaviour management, pulpotomies, pulpectomies, fillings and extractions.

Dr Sonia keeps abreast of latest developments in dentistry by continuing to attend numerous dental seminars and courses. This allows her to continually use the latest techniques on her patients for their benefit and ease of treatment.
